What You Will Do As a Systems Test Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the development, and support of production test rigs used to validate fuel control systems—such as pumps, metering units, and actuators—for engines from top manufacturers like Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, and GE. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that spans design, diagnostics, data analysis, and collaboration across multiple teams. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting and commissioning test rigs for hydro-mechanical aerospace components Modifying and validating test equipment to meet production and engineering requirements Supporting the maintenance of test software Diagnosing test equipment failures, both software and hardware-related Supporting the Asset Care team in ensuring equipment remains calibrated, compliant, and ready for use Conducting detailed data analysis and preparing technical reports to document findings, approvals, and justifications Collaborating across Engineering, Operations, Asset Care, and Project teams What You Must Have A degree in a related engineering discipline with demonstrated experience OR Hold an HND/HNC in a relevant discipline with demonstrated experience Strong problem-solving skills in complex technical environments Solid background in data analysis and drawing meaningful insights Proficiency in technical report writing, with attention to detail and clarity A hands-on approach and comfort working directly with hardware and test setups Skills & Experience We Value Knowledge of test equipment and instrumentation, especially for measuring flow, pressure, temperature, current, and voltage Experience in software development, ideally LabView Awareness of relevant standards and safety frameworks (DSEAR, ATEX, PUWER, PED) What We Offer: Competitive Salary & Bonus Scheme Generous Employer Contribution Pension Scheme Support with professional fees EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) Healthcare Benefits (including healthcare cash plan) Staff Discounts Wellness Programs Employee Recognition And so much more!
