Are you ready to take your career to new heights in the aerospace industry? Collins Aerospace, a leader in aviation technology, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Stores Operator to join our fast-paced and innovative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production of high-end aviation seating switches and lighting products for renowned airlines such as Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, and British Airways.
This is your chance to be part of a close-knit team of professionals, where you will be responsible for covering a range of stores functions, from picking kits to target dates and delivering them to the production floor, Conducting Cycle Counts and Stock Takes both annually, quarterly along with weekly sanity checks. If you\’re passionate about working with precision, have a strong eye for detail, and want to contribute to the next generation of aviation technology, we want you on our team!
What you will do:
- Receipt all goods delivered to the company
- Reject items sent back to suppliers
- Match and transact receipts and rejects against purchase order on the ERP system
- Notify purchasing of any discrepancies with deliveries
- To accurately perform stock transactions and record on the ERP system
- Kitting Work Orders to live work to list
- Ad-hoc requests for stock items
- Transacting stock between locations
- Ensure good housekeeping in the store’s areas
- Perform cycle counts and annual stock takes
- Assist other store employees with their work
- Actively take part in all stock taking activities.
Qualifications & Skills you must have:
- Previous Warehouse experience is essential
- Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a wider team
- Basic understanding if Microsoft Office to include Office, Word and Excel
- Working within a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
Qualifications and experience we prefer:
- Previous experience in a stores environment role
- PC & Systems literate – good administrative skills
- Basic understanding of ISO9001 and AS9100D standards (desirable)
