Are you ready to take your career to new heights in the aerospace industry? Collins Aerospace, a leader in aviation technology, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Testing Technician to join our fast-paced and innovative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production of high-end aviation seating switches and lighting products for renowned airlines such as Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, and British Airways.
This is your chance to be part of a close-knit team of professionals and to be responsible for the daily testing and verification of all products through the production department at WASP.
- Testing of product to predefined test procedures (ATP’s).
- Programming of PCB assemblies with software and verifying it for use.
- Performing / Setting up of electrical soak testing on all products that have a requirement to do so.
- Verification of brought in Programmed PCB assemblies to ensure that the pre-loaded software is at the correct revision.
- Communicate any problems or obstacles to the Testing Supervisor or the Production Manager in a timely manner.
Production Assembly Experience:
- Previous experience working in a production or assembly environment is essential.
- Experience in production testing environment.
- The ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
