Overview
Here at Collins Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) UK facility Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry.
What You Will Do
To administer the end-to-end process for RFQs, for our MROβs and Third-Party customers. The aim is to ensure the pricing is aligned with the business targets for EBIT, Margin and cost reduction. There will be a requirement to improve delivery performance for RFQs through working closely with our suppliers and customers driving efficiency across supply chain to achieve increased sales revenue.
You will support the sales, inventory + operating planning team for the forecasting and overhaul intake and ensure that demand plans are aligned between both operations and customers.
- Administer the RFQ process utilising best practice processes to support the needs of the business and our customers (Internal and External).
- Work proactively with our suppliers to ensure SLAs are hit
- Pricing quotes in line with the expected business strategies to ensure EBIT is achieved.
- Maintain the current metrics required by the business to assist in the enhancement of RFQ performance.
- Work in conjunction with Business Development to devise customer packages for key customers and using strategic pricing methods to ensure all prospective orders are secured.
- Assist with the annual Spares catalogue process, building and deployment of annual customer specific price lists.
- Challenge Supplier quotes using historic financial data, to ensure the business is procuring parts at the most economical rates
- Help drive down inventory values by managing MOQs/MOVs and offering EOQs to customers.
- Collate and report prompt and accurate information to the business in agreed timeframes using both data input and extraction reports from SAP
- Develop and support Point of Use reporting tools to ensure Global Spares processes are effectively managed to deliver excellent customer service whilst focusing on automating labour-intensive tasks
- Working with Marston Green MRO to make sure is kept up to date within SAP.
- Ensuring all records are stored in accordance with our accreditation, AS9120.

Education And Experience
- It is essential that you are proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel including VBA/macros, PowerPoint & Word
- SAP experience

- Experience of Aerospace industry or low volume/high technology industry is an asset
- Experienced negotiator with strong influencing skills
- Commercially astute with solid understanding of business processes
