Are you ready to actively contribute to continued growth in our nacelle aftermarket business across the Europe, Africa & Middle East region? We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to fulfil a fast‑paced role as we continue to support our customer base across a range of airlines, engine MROs and leasing companies.
First and foremost, we want someone with the right attributes to join our team. You’ll be confident, communicative, self‑motivated and have a track record in business‑to‑business selling.
Role Overview
Based at our Prestwick MRO facility, you will work as part of an established Business Development group – using your selling skills and account management experience to deliver transactional MRO wins, secure long‑term agreements and sell high‑value spares & major components to a range of customers. Your ability to travel internationally is a requirement for the role.
What you will do:
- Hold sales & revenue responsibility for a service portfolio including Major Nacelle Units, Parts, MRO support, Flight Hour and other Long Term Agreement structures.
- Represent Aerostructures Aftermarket as the primary commercial focal for an account set of customers often at a senior level.
- Participate in the identification and development of customer‑specific strategies to capture and drive sales revenue for Aerostructures.
- With support, own the sales process from bid identification, through customer engagement and onto agreement negotiation.

- Strong background in identifying new business opportunities, structuring bids, and negotiating contracts that deliver risk‑mitigated, profitable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to present confidently and persuasively in formal settings, influencing both external clients and internal leadership.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Engineering.
- Experience in engaging with cross‑functional teams, to ensure internal alignment and seamless customer execution.
Skills / Experience we value:
- Prior exposure to the aerospace aftermarket and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) industry.
- Solid understanding of key financial metrics including NPV, EBIT, and cash flow.
- High proficiency in business and proposal writing, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Collaborative team player, willing to take on additional responsibilities to support broader business objectives.
- Experience of managing business case development and gated approval processes.
