We are the UTAS Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) UK facility in Marston Green, specialising in advanced technical support for Hydromechanical and Electronic Engine Control units used across the aerospace industry. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety and performance of aviation systems worldwide. What You Will Do
- Produce and manage detailed investigation plans to assess hydromechanical fuel system control units removed from service
- Develop investigation reports linking in-service failures with MRO findings, identifying failure modes, root cause (where applicable), and corrective actions
- Assess and analyse test rig deviations to reduce risk to in-service product
- Produce and maintain technical documentation supporting Evaluation, Build, and Test processes
- Generate and issue technical reports to support operations and ensure compliance
- Provide engineering support to repair technicians
- Deliver training and assess technician competence for new stamp approvals
- Manage the introduction of technical and process changes into the business
- Provide technical support to customers and OEMs
- Provide technical support across internal business functions as required
- Support the Engine Control Services Worldwide repair network
- Manage component obsolescence activities
- Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement of repair processes
