In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production of high-end aviation seating switches and lighting products for renowned airlines such as Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, and British Airways. This is your chance to be part of a close-knit team of professionals and to be responsible for the daily fault finding and repair products that come back through the customer returns process in a manner that conforms to the company’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault find customer returns to determine the root cause and liability of failure.
  • Raise work orders and create reports.
  • Performing the reworking to faulty units.
  • Testing of production and aftermarket products.
  • Verifying test equipment and set ups prior to the release to production.
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to the Testing Supervisor or the Production Manager in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience
  • Production Assembly Experience: Previous experience working in an Electrical production or assembly environment is essential.
  • Experience in production testing environment IOS9001 / AS9100 standards knowledge would be highly desirable.
  • Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Attention to Detail: Capable of maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential.
  • The ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • PC skills are essential.
