Senior Finance Analyst – EMEA Connected Aviation Solutions Team, based in Crawley, West Sussex. Hybrid working model – minimum three days in office during initial training, potentially reduced to two days thereafter. Fixed‑term contract of 12 months.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide financial insight to support business risk and opportunity processes, including variance to Plan and latest estimate.
- Collaborate to identify growth opportunities and actions to mitigate known risks.
- Support Program and Commercial teams.
- Own product profitability information integrity and support product profitability tracking, including in‑depth functional cost reviews.
- Evaluate performance drivers and explain their link to financial performance.
- Support new business proposals for Gate Reviews, including basis‑of‑estimate generation, foreign exchange management, and risk/opportunity management.
- Review all provisions and communicate where additional provisions may be necessary.
- Monthly program profitability reporting and update of known risks and opportunities with variance explanation to latest estimate and Plan.
- Accurate monthly reporting of EMEA Airports performance in SAP.
- Report monthly results, providing supporting analyses and routine reporting to stakeholders.
- Provide solution‑based approach to financial review.
- Interpret and articulate trends, providing management information and data to support business insight and actions.
- Respond to ad‑hoc reporting requests and queries.
- Build a network with all stakeholders.
- Champion best practice and look to improve systems and processes.
Financial Planning
- Business partner with EMEA Airports management teams.
- Operate and coordinate standardised cadence, structure and formats for value stream performance tracking, latest estimate and monthly actuals reporting.
- Prepare monthly forecast, AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and strategic plans – LRP (Long Range Planning), ensuring alignment in the business and supporting analyses.
- Develop processes and templates to allow effective business planning.
Internal Control Reporting
- Ensure adherence to internal financial control policies and procedures consistent with US GAAP, Sarbanes‑Oxley, international accounting standards and all applicable international legal and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting policies, procedures and financial reporting timetables.
