About the role

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defence industry. At our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry. An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to hire Electronics Technicians to support our continued growth onsite.

What you will do

  • Disassemble, evaluate, assemble and test electronic engine control systems in accordance with relevant customer, design and quality procedures meeting all customer specifications and expectations.
  • Meet turnaround time and output targets by adopting a flexible approach within the team and carrying out all tasks directly impacting turnaround time, including document processing and product conformance/release.
  • Apply appropriate quality assurance techniques and accept responsibility for individual and team standards.
  • Actively participate in CORE and Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Assist, through training, in the development of colleagues.
  • Maintain all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards/IT systems and planning schedules.
