This is not your standard early career position. We are building the next generation of Collingwood's delivery model, and this role sits at the centre of that. As a Junior Associate in our Advisory team, you will be the engine room of client engagements — using AI tools and automated workflows to drive research, synthesise data, and support the creation of high-quality deliverables. You will report directly to an Associate Adviser and work alongside experienced media and advisory leaders on real strategic challenges for ambitious B2B media and information businesses.
If you are a digital native who has already been using AI tools to do things faster and better, we want to hear from you.
What you will doYou will deploy and manage AI agents to automate data gathering and research, conduct deep-dive market and competitor analysis, manage meeting transcription and synthesis, and support the development of client-facing reports, slides, and models. You will also coordinate engagement logistics and help capture client insights into reusable Collingwood IP. The role spans four areas: AI-enabled research and delivery, presentation and deliverable support, engagement coordination, and your own professional development within our Advisory methodology.
About youYou have 2–4 years of experience in consulting, media, or a high-growth environment. You are genuinely excited about generative AI — not just as a concept, but as a practical tool you use every day. You are comfortable with LLMs, automation platforms like Zapier or Make, and productivity software across Microsoft and Google suites. You can work with data in Excel or Google Sheets and, crucially, turn it into a clear 'so what.' You communicate well, handle complexity without drama, and know how to operate with discretion when working with sensitive client information.
About CollingwoodCollingwood is the only growth, value creation, and M&A advisory firm purpose-built for information, media, and events businesses.
