Colliers is seeking an experienced qualified Project Manager to join its Project & Building Consultancy team in London. The role will focus on the successful delivery of commercial fit-out, refurbishment, and capital projects across a diverse client portfolio, including corporate occupiers, investors, and developers. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, providing strategic advice, technical oversight, and commercial leadership while ensuring delivery aligns with client objectives, programme, and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery
    • Lead the end-to-end delivery of commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects, typically ranging from £500k to £10M+
    • Manage all project phases including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and handover
    • Develop and maintain project programmes, risk registers, and cost plans
    • Ensure delivery to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the primary client interface, building strong, trusted relationships
    • Provide clear and proactive reporting to senior stakeholders and occupiers
    • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including designers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Commercial & Contract Management
    • Lead procurement processes (RFP/tendering) and appointment of consultants and contractors
    • Administer contracts (primarily JCT, with exposure to other forms beneficial)
    • Manage cost control, change management, and project governance
    • Ensure commercial risks are identified and mitigated
  • Team Leadership & Business Development
    • Support and mentor Assistant and Project Managers within the team
    • Contribute to business development activities, pitches, and client engagement
    • Identify opportunities to expand services across existing client accounts
Qualifications
  • Key Requirements
    • Proven experience delivering commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects within the UK market
    • Track record managing projects in the range of £500k – £10M+
    • Experience within a consultancy, client-side, or multi-disciplinary environment
    • Strong understanding of workplace environments and occupier-led projects
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and governance frameworks
    • Experience with JCT contracts (FIDIC or NEC beneficial)
    • Proficient in budget management, programme delivery, and risk control
    • Understanding of building services (M&E), design coordination, and construction processes
  • Qualifications
    • Degree qualified in Construction, Project Management, Real Estate, or related discipline
    • MRICS
