Overview
Data Administrator at Colliers, Manchester, United Kingdom. We’re seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented Data Administrator to join our respected Business Rates team based in our Manchester Office. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside rating surveyors and consultants, playing a key role in analysing complex datasets, identifying savings opportunities, and helping our clients navigate the evolving property tax landscape. You’ll support decision-making across national client portfolios and help enhance the team’s strategic, data-driven capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with surveyors to analyse property, rental, and rateable value data across client portfolios
- Maintain and enhance internal databases and dashboards for tracking appeal outcomes, rating liabilities, and portfolio performance
- Identify trends and produce insights that inform rating strategy and opportunities for mitigation
- Prepare client-ready reports and visualisations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Collaborate with the wider team to support Check, Challenge, Appeal (CCA) processes and commercial negotiations
- Assist with forecasting, scenario modelling, and benchmarking activities
- Support internal projects focused on data automation and reporting optimisation

Qualifications
- Experience in a data administrative role, ideally within property, tax, consultancy, or a similar analytical environment
- Strong Excel skills; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualisation tools is highly desirable
- Comfortable handling large datasets, performing trend analysis, and communicating findings clearly
- Detail-oriented with strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator who can liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Interest in property, rating, or tax is an advantage
