Job Description
You will oversee multiple real estate transactions across Europe, collaborating internally and externally to ensure efficient and cost-effective purchasing, disposal and leasing of property throughout the region. Working with the PM@RE process ensuring timely delivery of each transaction through to execution or handing over to the projects team.
We are open to applicants who are based in any of the following locations – UK, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Romania, Hungary, Netherlands, Denmark.
What you’ll make an impact
- Management and / or supervision of purchase, disposal and leasing transactions in Europe
- Leads transactional site selection, disposal and leasing topics to obtain optimum commercial terms in line with agreed RE strategy for Europe.
- Centre of competence for global RE departments on issues relating to transaction management topics in the Europe.
- Technical management of purchase and sale topics in the Europe.
- Developer/ contributor to the development of Location Concepts, & I Applications in RE Europe.
- Establishes and keeps close working relationships with partners in SCM, Legal, EHS, RE Europe Zones & Regions.
- Interface towards the RE Customers / Partners, SE RE Finance, and the Europe Accounting Meta-Hub.
What you bring
- BSc / BA in Real Estate / Construction related degree.
- German and English Language is essential.
- Experience working at a similar level in either real estate management, real estate valuation, real estate project management, real estate development / transactions, or a combination of all.
- Strong leadership, able to build alliances and manage peers.
- Ability to influence senior & executive management on their assigned RE topics.
- Advance Knowledge of Siemens Energy business, organization, processes and internal customer requirements.
- Management skills (people management, assessment and controlling of operation
- Expert knowledge of European office and industrial real estate markets, trends and developments.
- Expert knowledge of latest office occupancy trends, fit out standards and space efficiency tools / market developments.
- Expert knowledge in leases, purchase & sale agreements / process.
- Expert knowledge in market mechanisms relating to leasing, and property purchases and sales.
- Expert knowledge in leading number of multinational real estate transactions from requirement gathering, strategy development to approval stage including preparation and submission of required documents to obtain approval.
