As a Senior Surveyor in our Portfolio Valuations team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and high-quality valuation reports for a range of property types, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with industry-leading professionals while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior surveyors and contribute to the overall success and growth of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Valuation Services: Conduct valuations for various property types, including commercial, residential, and development sites. Provide detailed reports in line with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) standards and other relevant regulations.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering expert advice on market trends, investment potential, and property strategies.
- Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market conditions and trends, using this knowledge to provide informed valuation insights and recommendations.
- Mentorship: Support junior team members with guidance on technical and professional development. Provide feedback and advice to help them grow in their careers.
- Project Management: Manage a portfolio of valuation projects, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Compliance: Ensure that all work is compliant with relevant legal, regulatory, and professional standards, including RICS rules and guidelines.
- Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the Valuations team through client development, networking, and identifying new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Qualification: MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Experience: in property valuations, ideally with experience in commercial.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of property valuation techniques, market analysis, and the ability to interpret complex property data.
- Client-Focused: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior team members.
- Hybrid Working: Comfortable with hybrid working arrangements, managing your time between the office and remote work effectively.
