At Colliers, we are continually growing and are looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor – Valuations to join our London team on a 12‐month fixed‐term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high‐performing team, delivering market‐leading valuation advice across a diverse client base.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering high‐quality valuation services across a broad range of commercial assets, supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients. The position offers exposure to a varied portfolio and the opportunity to contribute to high‐profile instructions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking valuations across a range of commercial property sectors, including office, retail, and mixed‐use assets
- Producing Red Book‐compliant reports for a variety of purposes, including loan security, financial reporting, and strategic advisory
- Managing and developing client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service delivery
- Supporting junior team members where required and contributing to team development
- Collaborating with wider business lines to support cross‐service client delivery
Qualifications
- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent qualification is essential
- Experience in property valuations, ideally in a commercial context
- Strong knowledge of property valuation techniques, market analysis, and the ability to interpret complex property data
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to manage client relationships effectively
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior team members
- Comfortable with hybrid working arrangements, managing your time between the office and remote work effectively
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensuring the quality and accuracy of valuation reports
About You
- Proven experience within commercial valuations, ideally within a consultancy environment
- Strong technical knowledge of the UK property market and RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book)
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills
- Commercially aware with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast‐paced environment
