Colliers is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Project Manager (MRICS) to join its London-based Project & Building Consultancy team. This role will focus on delivering high-quality project management services across a range of commercial office fit-out projects, with a strong emphasis on Cat A and Cat B schemes.

The successful candidate will play a leading role in managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while maintaining strong client relationships.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead the successful delivery of Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects within commercial office environments
  • Manage projects through all RIBA stages (0–7), from feasibility to handover
  • Develop and oversee project programmes, budgets, and risk management strategies
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, health & safety, and quality standards

Client Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing strategic advice and guidance
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and account growth
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders

Commercial & Contractual Management

  • Oversee procurement strategies, tender processes, and contract administration ( JCT contracts)
  • Monitor project costs and ensure effective financial control throughout the lifecycle
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively

Team Leadership & Contribution

  • Mentor and support junior team members and contribute to team development
  • Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to deliver integrated solutions
  • Contribute to business development activities, including pitches and proposals

Qualifications

Key Requirements

Qualifications & Professional Membership

  • MRICS qualified (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) – essential
  • Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related discipline

Experience

  • Proven experience in a Senior Project Management role within a consultancy environment
  • Strong track record delivering Cat A and Cat B office fit-out projects in London or similar major markets
  • Experience working with corporate occupiers, landlords, and/or developers
  • Demonstrable experience across the full project lifecycle

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, fit-out delivery, and design coordination
  • Experience administering standard forms of contract - JCT
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability
  • Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently

Desirable

  • Experience working within a global real estate consultancy
  • Exposure to ESG, sustainability, and wellbeing-focused workplace projects
  • Business development experience or strong commercial acumen
