Colliers is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Project Manager (MRICS) to join its London-based Project & Building Consultancy team. This role will focus on delivering high-quality project management services across a range of commercial office fit-out projects, with a strong emphasis on Cat A and Cat B schemes.
The successful candidate will play a leading role in managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the successful delivery of Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects within commercial office environments
- Manage projects through all RIBA stages (0–7), from feasibility to handover
- Develop and oversee project programmes, budgets, and risk management strategies
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, health & safety, and quality standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing strategic advice and guidance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and account growth
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Oversee procurement strategies, tender processes, and contract administration (JCT contracts)
- Monitor project costs and ensure effective financial control throughout the lifecycle
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
- Mentor and support junior team members and contribute to team development
- Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to deliver integrated solutions
- Contribute to business development activities, including pitches and proposals
- MRICS qualified (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) – essential
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a Senior Project Management role within a consultancy environment
- Strong track record delivering Cat A and Cat B office fit-out projects in London or similar major markets
- Experience working with corporate occupiers, landlords, and/or developers
- Demonstrable experience across the full project lifecycle
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, fit-out delivery, and design coordination
- Experience administering standard forms of contract - JCT
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability
- Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Experience working within a global real estate consultancy
- Exposure to ESG, sustainability, and wellbeing-focused workplace projects
