Weβre seeking a commercially minded and proactive Senior Surveyor to join our respected Business Rates team, operating from our central London office at 95 Wigmore Street. With a 90-strong national team and an impressive client base across office, retail, industrial, and leisure sectors, this is your opportunity to work at the forefront of property tax consultancy.
You will:
- Manage your own portfolio of clients, delivering expert advice
- Inspect and measure commercial properties across the UK
- Prepare and submit appeals, including detailed negotiations with the Valuation Office Agency
- Provide strategic guidance on liability mitigation and rates optimisation
- Support business development and mentor junior surveyors
Qualifications:
- MRICS qualified with demonstrable experience in business rates
- Technically strong in valuation with excellent analytical skills
- Confident communicator and negotiator
- Able to work independently while contributing to wider team goals
- Familiarity with the Check, Challenge, Appeal process is beneficial
