Colliers' Retail Services team provides integrated retail consultancy and transaction solutions to landlords and developers, covering strategic positioning, tenant mix planning, and brand recruitment. We are seeking an aspiring Retail real estate expert to support both the strategic advisory function led by the Head of Retail Consultancy and the implementation & transaction function led by senior team members.
This role is ideal for mid‐level professionals with strong analytical skills, solid transaction or consultancy experience, and the ability to manage deliverables, coordinate stakeholders, and support tenant recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Consultancy Support
- Assist the Head of Retail Consultancy in preparing strategic studies including market diagnostics, asset positioning, trade mix strategies, and layout recommendations.
- Support delivery of pitch materials and client proposals.
- Project Coordination & Implementation
- Work closely with senior team members to convert strategic recommendations into actionable implementation plans.
- Coordinate project timelines, action trackers, and deliverable schedules for consultancy and other client mandates.
- Transaction Support
- Assist in targeting and recruiting prospective brands and operators aligned with the recommended tenant mix strategy.
- Manage initial outreach, maintain brand pipelines, and support senior team members in negotiating commercial terms.
- Develop transaction materials, pitch decks, brand profiles, and site briefs.
- Support inspection arrangements, site tours, and follow‐up communication with retailers.
- Assist in site selection, and portfolio optimization for brands and operators.
- Support senior team in managing day‐to‐day client communication on transaction matters.
- Market Intelligence & Financial Analysis
- Track market trends, new openings, brand movements, and landlord activity.
- Maintain internal intelligence databases and update market comparables.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in the Retail real estate industry (Candidates with less experience could be considered as Assistant Manager)
- Valid EAA license holder
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and lead in a fast‐paced environment.
