Job Description: Location: New Milton, Hampshire Salary: Starting from £18.50 per hour Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9am–5pm | Friday, 9am–1pm (optional hours until 4pm) The Opportunity Collide Technical Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established, family-run engineering business based near New Milton. Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke industrial machinery, supplied to customers across the UK and internationally. This is a workshop-based position, offering the opportunity to work on interesting engineering projects within a friendly, supportive and well-equipped manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out MIG welding and fabrication of components used in the manufacture of bespoke industrial machinery. * Working from engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications. * Preparing, assembling and welding metal components to a high standard. * Producing accurate, high-quality welds and ensuring finished components meet requirements. * Working alongside the wider engineering and assembly teams. * Supporting the manufacture of specialist machinery and equipment. * Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment. Requirements * Previous MIG welding experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment. * Good general fabrication and workshop skills. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work. * Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Working Hours The company offers excellent working hours, providing a good work-life balance. * Monday to Thursday: 9:00am–5:00pm * Friday: 9:00am–1:00pm * Optional additional hours: Opportunity to work until 4:00pm on Fridays for extra earnings.
