Help tell the story behind Collett's specialist projects.
Collett is looking for a creative, commercially aware and hands-on Senior Marketing Executive to join our team in Bradford. This is an opportunity to take real ownership of how a specialist, project-led business tells its story, from major transport projects and engineering challenges to the people and expertise behind them.
Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you'll be at the heart of day-to-day marketing delivery across content, social media, website, digital activity, events and project capture. You'll work across the business, turn technical and operational activity into engaging content, and help strengthen how Collett is seen by customers, partners and the wider industry.
You don't need to arrive as a transport expert. We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive and excited by the opportunity to get close to the work, understand what makes it interesting and turn that into marketing that gets noticed.
What you'll be doing
Taking an active role in our social media presence, creating, scheduling and managing engaging content, primarily for LinkedIn.
- Creating internal and external newsletters that bring our projects, people, achievements and business updates to life.
- Maintaining and developing website content so it remains current, relevant and aligned with business activity.
- Tracking social media and website performance and using the data to identify what is working and where we can improve.
- Helping to plan and deliver company events, industry exhibitions and other external marketing activity.
- Writing high-quality content including case studies, press releases, award submissions and industry-focused communications.
- Working directly with teams across the business to identify stories and capture content, including attending project and customer sites where required.
- Supporting organic and paid search activity, including the use of Google Analytics and Google Ads to monitor performance and opportunities.
- Turning complex, technical or operational subject matter into clear, interesting and visually engaging marketing content.
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager while confidently owning projects and taking ideas from concept through to delivery.
What weβre looking for
We're looking for someone who combines creativity with delivery. You'll be comfortable getting stuck in, managing competing priorities and building relationships with colleagues across the business. You'll ideally bring:
- At least 3 years of marketing experience, with a strong track record of hands-on delivery.
- Experience across social media, content creation, website management and digital marketing.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
- Confidence using a CMS such as WordPress to update pages and manage website content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to create professional, on-brand assets.
- An understanding of digital performance, with experience using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once.
- The confidence to work independently while remaining a collaborative and approachable team member.
- A proactive mindset β someone who spots stories, ideas and opportunities rather than waiting to be given a brief.
- A full UK driving licence, as the role includes travel to depots, project locations and client sites.
Experience within transport, logistics, engineering, construction or another B2B environment would be useful, but it is not essential. What matters is your ability and willingness to understand our industry and translate what we do into compelling marketing.
This is a role where your work will be visible. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and colleagues across Collett, gaining exposure to specialist projects, customers and different parts of the business. As your knowledge and confidence grow, there will be scope to take greater ownership of campaigns, channels, content strategy and wider marketing projects.
We want someone who can develop alongside the business, so you'll be encouraged to build your industry knowledge, strengthen your marketing capability and bring forward new ideas that help us tell the Collett story even better.
Location & hours
- Low Moor, Bradford, within commuting distance of Leeds City centre and surrounding West Yorkshire towns.
- Full-time, office-based role.

- Occasional overnight stays may be required.
What we offer
- Competitive salary dependent on experience, reviewed annually.

Ready for your next challenge?
If you're a marketer who likes variety, enjoys turning ideas into action and wants the freedom to get close to the work rather than market it from a distance, we'd like to hear from you. You don't need to know specialist transport on day one β bring your marketing experience, curiosity and ideas, and we'll help you build the industry knowledge.
Collett welcomes applications from people from all backgrounds and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
