Location: Bradford Depot, BD12 0QS Job Type: Full – time, permanent Hours: Anticipated normal working hours are Monday to Friday 08.00hrs to 17.00hrs. Overtime and weekend working is required by the demands of the business. About Us: Collett & Sons Ltd is a successful family-owned Company, established since 1928. Renewables Project Manager – The Role: Working as part of the renewables team, this appointment will report directly to the Renewables Director for the company. The role will include: – Fielding incoming calls and emails from Customers, Drivers and Sub-contractors – Attend kickoff meetings with clients to establish the client s exact requirements, finalizing and agreeing programs – Producing all relevant RAMS, equipment lists and communicating this to the team – Dealing with the planning & scheduling of Road transport operations – Planning the movement of Abnormal Indivisible Loads (AIL s), including obtaining required permits, undertaking route surveys, and providing customer reports – Managing operations on a cost-effective basis – Attend site for the execution of the project collaborating and supporting the site supervisor and crew in the completion of the project by being the main point of contact with the client on site with regards to coordination, project programme, engineering and HSQE issues – Provide technical support to the site team and respond to issues on site in a professional and timely manner – Project Manage all aspects of the Project, either technical, budgetary, SHEQ, logistics, schedule, etc – Undertake the management of delivery of Wind Turbine components for Renewables projects from initial conception to completion. This can include Shipping, Port handling & lifting, transport & logistics operations – Any other duties as required to ensure effective management of the business Renewables Project Manager You: The candidate will initially be responsible for the running of certain renewables sector projects, and is capable of taking full responsibility for the projects and managing these functions. They must be customer focused, have an attention to detail, be able to complete all necessary documentation, commercially astute and be suitable to work on a personal level with the client base. Experience: – Experience in a logistics environment, Knowledge of the heavy lift / transport sector preferred – Experience of project orientated admin/cost control/management – Full clean driving license – Relevant experience in a similar role – Demonstrate ability to complete tasks, with attention to detail. – Have a good understanding and geographic knowledge of UK and Europe – Ability to record and report progress & development of the task – High level of Computer skill and competency, preferably including use CRM systems Renewables Project Manager Benefits: – 28 days Holiday per year including Bank Holiday – Company contributions to the Company pension scheme is offered subject to conditions – Holiday Purchase Scheme subject to conditions – Overnight subsistence costs are paid when away from base The Opportunity Industry approved further education will be provided for the correct candidate.
