Background
The Coller Pensions Institute (CPI) is a pioneering non-profit Action Tank focused on transforming the global pension landscape. Our mission is to develop and implement innovative policies to expand pension coverage, promote sustainable economic growth and reduce old-age poverty. We believe well-designed pension systems are not only important for social security, but are also a key pillar of long-term sustainable economic development.
For the next five years, we will focus on expanding pension coverage in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies through innovative solutions.
We produce policy proposals grounded in evidence-based research and aim to develop and implement actionable policy programmes to bring these proposals to life, in collaboration with stakeholders from government, industry and academia.
CPI is part of the Jeremy Coller Foundation (JCF), a private foundation based in London and operating globally. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the Foundation’s expanding workstream on pensions. About this role
As we establish CPI, we are seeking a detail-oriented and operationally focused professional to join us as the first full-time team member. This is a unique opportunity to build the operational infrastructure of a globally ambitious organization and ensure its policy programmes are effectively implemented.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing robust operational systems, managing day-to-day Institute activities, and coordinating the implementation of pension policy programmes and projects developed in collaboration with the research team.

Responsibilities
As a founding team member, you will play a critical role in building the Coller Pensions Institute. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Organisational Management: (25%)
· Support day-to-day management and administration of the Institute.
· Develop and maintain organisational processes and workflows.
· Coordinate and align policies & processes with other operations colleagues across the Jeremy Coller Foundation.
· Prepare tailored presentations, reports and materials for diverse stakeholders.
· Facilitate meetings, events, and institute activities.
· Manage relationships with service providers and stakeholders.
· Support budget tracking and administrative reporting.
2. Programme Implementation (50%)
- Develop detailed implementation plans for programmes and projects based on research findings.
- Coordinate programme delivery with external partners and stakeholders.
- Monitor programme progress and prepare regular status reports.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Facilitate workshops, convenings, and programme-related events.
- Support programme evaluation and impact measurement.
- Co-ordinate meetings and input from the Advisory Committee.
- Support fundraising activities for programme implementation.
3. Stakeholder Coordination (25%)
- Maintain relationships with Advisory Committee members and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate communications between research team and implementation partners.
- Support partnership management and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Track industry developments and policy changes relevant to programme implementation.
- Prepare briefing materials and updates for leadership and partners.
- Other duties as required.
- Represent CPI at events and conferences as required.
Requirements:
Essential Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years in programme and project management, consulting (particularly public sector projects), operations, or international organizations.
- Knowledge: Understanding of at least one of the following areas: pension policy, social security systems, international development, or capital market development.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time. Particularly in a research, policy or developmental context. You will need to track and manage stakeholder from different backgrounds and across borders.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Systems Thinking: Strong organizational and process improvement skills.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience coordinating with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Educational Background: Degree in economics, finance, public policy, international development, or related field.
- Passion: Commitment to evidence-based policy and addressing systemic social challenges.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Desirable Requirements
- Familiarity working with partners in emerging markets and developing economies.
- Experience working with academic institutions or think tanks.
- Project management certification or training.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
- Experience in business development would be an asset.
- Experience in the NGO space would be an asset.
