We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Lending software development team in the UK. In this role, you will contribute to the release of high-quality software products to our customers. Collaborating closely with our development team, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimating, prioritising, planning and coordinating testing activities.
- Identifying, recording, documenting and tracking bugs.
- Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs.
- Collaborating with Developers and Product Managers to identify system requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role in software development.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test cases.
- Experience with productivity tools such as MS Office and JIRA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Knowledge of SQL and scripting would be beneficial.
- Finance industry experience would be beneficial.
