The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are currently looking for a Claims Adjuster to join us, based within reach of our London office.
This customer facing role is to support our Professional indemnity claims team managing a portfolio of claims under a number of different delegate authority structures..
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Handling of correspondence with insureds, brokers, insurers and claimants
- Preparation of defenses and assisting insured with letters where required
- Preparation of claim reports in relation to complex claims
- Establishing reserve estimates and updating reserve estimates as cases develop
The ideal candidate will have experience within the claims environment – as either a claims admin, adjuster or handler – excellent customer service skills and attention to detail, great problem-solving skills and some knowledge of UK professional indemnity claims, with experience in either construction or legal risk being preferable.
