Help develop gymnasts of all abilities at the University of Leicester. The University of Leicester is looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Gymnastics Coach to support our Team Leicester Gymnastics Club. This is an opportunity to coach students ranging from complete beginners to higher-level gymnasts, helping them build confidence, improve technique and prepare for competition.
QUALIFICATION Level 2 qualified or above.
SESSION Mondays, 8:00pm to 9:30pm
ABILITY RANGE Beginners to higher-level gymnasts.
What you’ll do
- Deliver engaging and progressive gymnastics sessions every Monday from 8:00pm to 9:30pm.
- Coach gymnasts across a wide range of abilities, from beginners to higher-level performers.
- Support the development of safe technique, confidence and individual progression.
- Create and develop competition routines suited to each gymnast’s ability and goals.
- Help provide an inclusive, positive and enjoyable club environment.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Level 2 gymnastics coaching qualification.
- Is confident coaching both beginners and higher-level gymnasts.
- Has the ability to create and refine competition routines.
- Can commit to the Monday evening session from 8:00pm to 9:30pm.
- Is enthusiastic about supporting student development and university sport.
