Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
Making patients aware of dental services and offers and handling payments
Decontaminating, preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment
Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Preferably previous administration/ reception and/or dental nursing experience
A positive, friendly and enthusiastic personality with a great customer focus
Ideally SOE/Exact experience, but training can be given
Strong communication and organisation skills
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Able to work flexibly with others in a team environment
Reliable and committed
Interested in Dentistry and enjoys constantly learning and developing in your role
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
GCSE educated to include English, Maths and Science
IT literate – Efficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Previous customer service experience desirable
You must be able to build relationships and provide empathy to patients.
Qualified Dental Nurse, Valid GDC registration (required)
