JOB TITLE: LECTURER BRICKWORK/GROUNDWORK

SALARY: £31,904 - £40,233 (FTE)
Due to the continued growth and success of our brick provision we are looking to recruit additional lecturers to join the team.
The work we do in Construction is essential in supporting local businesses. We work with a huge range of companies to make sure our qualifications and curriculum offer meet the industry's needs. We cover brickwork, groundwork and carpentry; we have a first-class track record of working with employers on successful apprenticeship programmes.
Lecturers work to: Plan, prepare, and deliver practical and theory lessons in construction, using a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage learners. Assessment of student progress through assignments, exams, and practical work to ensure successful outcomes.
The successful postholder will teach on a range of levels, from entry to level 3 including apprentices.

The successful applicant will need to have a Level 3 brickwork/groundwork qualification and site experience, which is essential.

Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not be made at point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
