JOB TITLE: Trainee Lecturer – English

LOCATION: King\’s Lynn/ Wisbech and/or Cambridge

HOURS: 37 per week

SALARY: Β£25,234 per annum

FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL JULY 2026

The Trainee Lecturer role provides our learners with additional support in relation to their English skills by working closely with Lecturers to identify and put into place appropriate support. Support may be provided one-to-one, in small groups or as whole class teaching.

We deliver English lessons to a range of students from foundation to Higher education, either on a stand alone basis or as part of their chosen course. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with learners from age 16 plus and truly influence their career choices, whether they are looking to further their education or enter the workplace. We work closely with other departments and faculties to ensure that our English provision meets the needs of our learners, whatever their background taking into account any barriers to learning.

This is a great introduction to teaching as you will be working alongside more experienced colleagues, provided with full training and support and gaining experience of all aspects of teaching.
