JOB TITLE: Sous Chef

HOURS: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
WEEKS: 37 weeks per year (term time plus one week)
SALARY: £22,464 - £22,805 (£26,349- £26,749 FTE)
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Catering team in the newly created role of Sous Chef.
As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the College kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals for our students, staff and visitors.
You will play a key role in supervising kitchen operations, supporting and motivating the kitchen team, and taking the lead in the Head Chef’s absence. You will also help to maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards, while ensuring the catering operation runs efficiently and cost-effectively.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Catering team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
