JOB TITLE: LECTURER (DOG GROOMING)

HOURS: 18.5 PER WEEK

LOCATION: CAMBRIDGE

SALARY: £15,265 – £19,250 PER ANNUM (£30,530- £38,500 FTE)

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POST TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE

We are recruiting for an additional Lecturer to join our dog grooming team. This hands on role works closely with our students providing both practical skill tuition and delivery of associated theoretical knowledge. The successful candidate will have significant experience of working in a dog grooming parlour, as well as some teaching or training experience (whether in a formal college environment or in industry), a commitment to delivering high quality education to all learners and passion and drive to succeed.
This role is a great step on your teaching career journey offering the opportunity to develop and hone your practical and theoretical teaching skills.

Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£35,831 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving equine and dog grooming team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.
