This is a rare opportunity to join us at CWA leading our English team. We provide high quality teaching and learning opportunities to all our learners, with a focus on both functional skills and GCSE English. Our learners are often enrolled on other college courses and are often anxious about their abilities when it comes to English. You will provide effective leadership to the English team ensuring that our lecturers develop and deliver engaging resources, help to drive up attendance and achievement and work closely with the rest of the English, Maths and ESOL team, as well as the wider college.
All our Programme Managers benefit from high quality support including bespoke supervisors training, regular conferences on relevant topics, access to peer support and high-quality resources. We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving English department team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
