Location: Wisbech
Hours: 18.5 hours a week
Responsibilities:
- Run ESOL classes at the Wisbech campus, including evening sessions on Monday and Wednesday.
- Deliver ESOL programmes to learners, providing support that may lead to placement in workplaces.
- The role requires planning, teaching and assessment of learners, with travel expenses payable for workplace placements.
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching ESOL.
- ESOL teaching qualification (TESOL, CELTA, DELTA or equivalent).
- Teaching qualification such as Certificate in Education and Training (L4)/CTLLS or equivalent, and Level 2 Maths (e.g. GCSE A*-C/9-4) or willingness to obtain.
- Level 5 teaching qualification demonstrates higher experience; salary will reflect level and experience.
- Applicants with limited teaching experience may apply for the Trainee Lecturer programme.
