LOCATION: King's Lynn/Wisbech
HOURS: 22.5 per week
SALARY: £19,401 - £24,465 (£31,904 - £40,232 FTE)
You will work as part of our Apprenticeship team to deliver functional skills English to our apprentices. This is an integral part of their apprenticeship but as it is not their main subject, they are often anxious about their abilities. This is a real opportunity to help our learners in developing an understanding, and hopefully love, of English including how to apply principles in relation to their course and everyday lives.
Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Apprenticeship team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
