Due to an increase in learner numbers on our equine courses we are looking to recruit an additional Lecturer to support teaching on our programmes from Level 1 to 3. This is a varied role incorporating both classroom and practical elements. As a Course Director for Level 2 learners you'll be instrumental in designing and delivering a contemporary curriculum which will equip the equine specialist of the future with up-to-date skills and knowledge. You'll be able to inspire learners' curiosity and help them to achieve their full potential in a supportive environment.
Not taught in further education before? It doesn't matter. We offer a bespoke training package to all of our curriculum staff tailored to suit their previous experience. We will support you to achieve teaching qualifications if you do not already hold them. Your industry experience is key and will enable you to develop a rich knowledge and understanding of what a career in equine looks like for your learners.
Qualifications- Hold a relevant degree.
- Either hold, or be willing to obtain, assessor and verifier awards.
- BHS (or equivalent) qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
