Lecturer Animal Care (sessional/hourly) in Cambridge

Our animal care courses ensure that our students leave us with the scientific and practical skills they need for their careers in the animal care industry. This campus is really all about the animals and has a real community feel to it. We are passionate about our animals and the education and training we provide to our students - the next generation of animal care specialists.

In addition, our Cambridge campus also boasts a wide range of facilities including indoor and outdoor horse-riding arenas, an equine therapy centre, a specialist animal and veterinary nursing clinical skills area, and our very own dog grooming parlour.

You will teach and develop a range of classes and courses within the Faculty and Programme Area.

You must have a Level 3 qualification in Animal Care or in a related subject and have relevant industry experience. What matters most to us is your passion for animals and your ability to motivate and engage with our students; holding a teaching qualification is preferred, however we will support you to achieve this if you do not already hold this (Diploma in Education/DTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE). You must hold a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain within 18 months of employment.
