About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available in the Construction and Building Services team at Coventry College. We are looking for an inspiring and innovative Curriculum Lead for the pastoral delivery and to support the Curriculum manager on a daily basis. It would be advantageous if applicants have relevant vocational experience and demonstrate their ability to be able to teach across a range of different groups delivering group Tutorials, additional to this you will also have the skills and expertise to deliver across a diverse curriculum. The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a passion for delivering innovative, interactive sessions as well as acting as a Course Tutor to provide support, inspiration and guidance to our learners. Requirements
- Must-Have:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Teaching
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in English & Maths
- Any Trade qualifications would be advantageous
- Be able to evidence continuing professional development
- Proven ability to create strong outcomes for diverse groups of learners
- The ability to lead colleagues in curriculum development and quality assurance activities
- Ability to use effective delivery methods within own teaching practice, with a range of teaching and learning methods, including Assessment for Learning, Blended Learning and Information Learning Technology
- Evidence of effective tracking and monitoring of a wide range of students on a range of different programmes
- Previous leadership experience
