Contract Type: Full-Time, Term time only 38-weeks - Fixed-Term as related to Maternity Cover

Hours per Week: 37 hours

Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am – 4:30pm Friday

Salary: £22,000 - £22,594 per annum pro-rated (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Please note, the salary will increase in line with Coventry College August pay award

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to join our team in a key business support role. You will play an important part in helping the College run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall learner and staff experience. Whether supporting students, staff, systems, or services, you’ll bring a positive approach and a strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail. The College is looking to appoint a part-time Student Recruitment Advisor with additional Receptionist Duties who will be responsible for providing an efficient and welcoming reception service for students, staff and visitors to the College. You will also be required to operate the College’s switchboard, postal services and to assist with other clerical duties. You must have experience of customer facing roles and ideally have reception, switchboard and/or clerical experience. This role is expected to be front of house, particularly during the mornings, supporting enquiries and general visitor traffic. Activity may reduce in the afternoons, allowing the focus to shift to student recruitment duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification, or equivalent competency, in Communication/Literacy and Numeracy/Maths or willingness to achieve in a specified timescale
  • Experience of dealing with people in a customer facing environment
  • Experience of reception and/or clerical experience
  • Knowledge of computer systems
