MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE As a Childcare Assistant for Preschool, you follow the care, recreation, supervision, and any logistical needs of Preschool students enrolled in the Extracurricular program. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 15:15 - 18:15, from 12:00 on Wednesday (Times may vary slightly depending on needs). Welcoming children at the end of school; Ensuring each student's self-hygiene is timely provided. Ensuring the administration and the information shared or acknowledged, from the office as well as any other sources, is followed accurately. Acquiring pedagogical knowledge on each child and providing consistent feedback to parents. Running activities for children and grant supervision for any aspect of the service (once a week for preschool students too). Assisting with dressing the children and taking children to the bathroom, changing pampers if required (preschool times). Establish a good relationship with children and adults Remain flexible English mandatory, French is an asset Experience with preschool and/or primary children. It is important that the post holder is always aware of Child Protection guidelines and observes a professional distance from students whilst still developing effective working and caring relationships.
