Reporting to the Academic Director, you will prepare students for their future career and university application process.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Counsel and advise students and parents on academic options.
  • Mentor students throughout the university application process through providing coaching on essays, activity lists, CVs and interviews.
  • Organise events and platforms to increase awareness of further education and training options, including the coordination of internal and external university visits.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of academic materials for university applications (for example, Common App and UCAS), including academic references, predicted grades and transcripts.
  • Support students in navigating the preparation of key application elements including standardised testing (SAT, IELTS, LNAT, TMUA, ESAT, etc.) and portfolio preparation.
PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES
  • Fluent French and English (German, Italian, Spanish or Russian a plus).
  • In-depth knowledge of the US, UK, European and Swiss university admission procedures and requirements to be able to advise all students (with IB, French Bac or the Swiss Maturity).
  • Able to efficiently network with university admission officers.
  • Proficient and experienced in student personal development and self-awareness coaching.
  • Very good interpersonal communication skills, listening and counselling skills.
  • Experienced in university admission testing, mock-interview training and essay/personal statement advice and guidance.
