We’re a creative and technology company, and a NVIDIA Solutions Partner. We’ve been innovating at the forefront of marketing for over 20 years. In a world moving faster than ever, we’re pioneering new technologies to future-proof brands and accelerate their growth. Our clients include Unilever, Avis Budget Group, Coca-Cola and Mercedes-AMG F1. We believe in people before technology. We also believe in doing the right thing, which is why we’re a certified B Corp and put equal emphasis on people, planet and profit. Our team environment is highly collaborative, interdisciplinary and driven by great ideas from everyone involved.

The Collective model brings together a dedicated, embedded content studio built specifically for Avis Budget Group (ABG). The studio operates in collaboration with a network of freelance creatives and partners engaged by Collective on a project basis. The studio reflects our agency culture while maintaining each freelance contributor's independent status.

We’re looking for a highly creative and performance-driven self-employed freelance Content Creator, ideally a specialist in UGC and Paid Social, to develop and produce compelling content across the core ABG social channels, on a contract basis. The freelancer will sit at the intersection of storytelling, luxury branding, and paid media performance.

You will be engaged to deliver high-quality assets that resonate with premium audiences – particularly in the luxury car hire and travel space. You understand how to blend aspirational visuals with conversion-focused messaging.

What we’re looking for (in a nutshell):

  • A strategic thinker – at ease with setting overall direction, able to brainstorm and ideate across content themes, concepts and executions, and communicate this with confidence to the client.
  • Demonstrable experience of capturing UGC content first-hand, comfortable in a production environment, working collaboratively on the ground.
  • An individual familiar with editing tools and design software, i.e. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Figma, CapCut, Canva or similar.
  • Experience working in collaboration with performance marketers to generate best-in-class paid social outputs, or at least familiar with best practice across key social channels – Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube in particular.
  • A strong awareness of social media trends and the ability to translate them into relevant and reactive content opportunities.
  • A freelancer with the availability to travel (typically Europe and twice a year) if required for project delivery.
  • Proficient in the use of AI tools to accelerate ideation, scripting, editing and creative iteration (e.g. generative video, automated captions, concept generation).

Scope of services:

  • Overall strategic direction and approach to UGC/Paid social and organic social media content, to maintain a consistent luxury aesthetic and brand identity across all content.
  • Production of high-performing paid social content tailored for channels, formats and campaign objectives.
  • Writing and refining ad copy, hooks, and key messaging to maximise engagement and conversion, in line with brand tone of voice.
  • Collaborate with the performance marketing team as required to align deliverables with campaign objectives.

Specific Requirements:

  • Proven experience creating organic and paid social content across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Reddit.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing video-first content.
  • Experience scripting, directing and producing UGC-style content (e.g. creator-led ads, testimonials, TikTok-native storytelling formats).
  • Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Figma, CapCut, Canva or similar.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and direct-response creative and ability to iterate content based on insights.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Sprout or similar).
  • Ability to monitor, interpret and report on performance, with an understanding of key social metrics.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to haves:

  • Proven experience in managing a content calendar geared towards organic follower growth.
  • Deep understanding of platform-native creative (e.g. TikTok-first storytelling, Meta hook-based ads, Reddit community tone).
  • Experience working first-hand in the car hire, automotive or travel sectors.
  • Exposure to luxury brands or high-end audiences is highly desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with or briefing external content creators.

This specification outlines the scope of work for a self-employed freelance Content Creator. The individual engaged will operate as an independent contractor responsible for their own taxes, pension, insurance and equipment.

Duration: May start, for 8 months (to end of 2026), with a potential view to extending.

Fee: A fixed monthly retainer of £3,340 will be paid for the duration of the contract.

Payment: monthly in arrears upon invoice. All associated costs would be agreed separately.
