The Role
We are working with a highly regarded, independent commercially minded design‑led furniture consultancy looking for an Associate Director to lead its marketing function and help shape the next stage of the business.
Working across workplace, residential and emerging sectors, the company collaborates with leading architects, interior designers and global organisations to deliver some of the most considered furniture projects in the industry.
They already have the projects, reputation and relationships. The opportunity is to ensure the business presents itself with equal strength.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop the marketing team, creating clear priorities, accountability and a positive, ambitious culture.
- Own the overall marketing strategy and translate it into clear campaigns, projects and measurable objectives.
- Shape and protect the company’s brand, positioning, tone of voice and visual identity.
- Ensure consistency across the website, social media, presentations, pitches, case studies, events and wider communications.
- Work closely with senior leadership to understand commercial priorities and identify where marketing can have the greatest impact.
- Improve how projects, people and ideas are communicated to the architecture, design and client community.
- Develop stronger editorial, social, event and partnership opportunities.
- Oversee major credentials, tender and pitch material.
- Establish meaningful KPIs and understand the commercial impact of marketing activity.

About You
Furniture industry experience would be useful, but it is not essential.
You could come from furniture, architecture, interiors, property, hospitality, fashion, a design‑led product company, a creative consultancy, or another sector where brand, aesthetics, and commercial thinking intersect.
