We're seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Executive to join a leading design brand in London. In this role, you will play a key part in driving long-term sales growth and expanding our presence in the luxury sector by building strategic relationships and closing high-value sales. Working within a small, close-knit team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Sales to implement sales strategies and contribute to broader business development initiatives, with a primary focus on Contract Sales. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and enjoys developing strong, lasting working relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with key decision-makers in the target sales sector to introduce them to our full collection, including custom-made work, increasing the number of sales partners and sales, and building strategies to meet required sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify key decision makers and new opportunities to grow the business; communicate insights and opportunities throughout the company.
  • Represent the brand at key business meetings, tradeshows, and related events.
  • Nurture key client relationships, transforming them into brand advocates by offering regular product training and support.
  • Arrange and host visits for key clients, providing an exceptional brand experience.
  • Work closely with specifiers and high-net-worth clients on contract or custom projects, ensuring smooth internal communication and coordination with design and production teams from initial evaluation and quotation to point of sale.
  • Support clients at every stage of the project to ensure their vision is delivered on time and within budget, guiding them through the design selection process.
  • Address and resolve client concerns quickly and efficiently, using a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Provide regular, concise reports to Head of Sales on pipeline, new projects, and progress on existing projects, ensuring all information and contacts are logged in the CRM system.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and operations teams, regularly updating project progress and contributing to individual and team targets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales roles with a solid understanding of the contract sales process is essential.
  • Well-established contacts and relationships within A&D community highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS applications.
  • Experience with CRM and project management software is highly desirable.
  • A natural communicator with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Trustworthy, respectful, and able to build rapport easily.
  • Organised and able to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • A team player who thrives in a supportive, small-team setting.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and entrepreneurial.
