A globally recognised luxury furniture brand is looking for a commercially ambitious Business Development professional to join its London showroom team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about design, enjoys building relationships and is motivated by winning projects and growing accounts. Working primarily with residential interior designers, architects and private clients, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, identifying potential projects and building long-term relationships within the design community. While you'll inherit some existing relationships, this is not a role for someone who expects opportunities to be handed to them. The successful candidate will be proactive, resilient and comfortable opening doors, creating conversations and turning introductions into projects.
The role would suit someone with experience within luxury furniture, interiors or design-led sales who is looking to step into a more commercially focused position with significant growth potential. You'll be supported by an internationally respected brand, an exceptional London showroom, and a highly experienced team, giving you a platform to build a strong network and establish yourself in the industry.
What they’re looking for:
- Experience within luxury furniture, interiors, design or specification sales
- Existing relationships within the residential interior design community are advantageous
- A proactive and entrepreneurial approach to business development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable managing projects from enquiry through to completion
- Ambitious, self-motivated and commercially driven
- Passion for design, interiors and delivering exceptional client experiences
Package:
- £37,000 salary with commission
- Uncapped commission on margin
- Variable team bonus
- Annual individual performance bonus
- Estimated first-year commission and bonus potential of circa £25,000.
