This is an ideal opportunity for either an experienced finance or treasury administrator, or someone looking to start their career in this field. Operating as part of the multi‑jurisdictional finance function of an offshore law firm, the successful applicant will work with the finance team to administer client money and property conveyancing transactions, ensuring funds are managed accurately, securely, and in full compliance with regulatory and firm requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer client money movements relating to property transactions, ensuring funds are received, transferred and disbursed in line with instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of client account balances and activity.
- Prepare and reconcile statements of account for property transactions.
- Prepare and complete regular reconciliations of client money accounts.
- Ensure compliance with client money regulations and firm policies.
- Liaise with fee earners, banks and clients to coordinate financial aspects of transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in client funds promptly.
- Liaise with fee earners and finance colleagues to ensure correct allocation of client funds.
- Administer the financial aspects of property conveyancing across the firm.
- Contribute to process improvements and strengthening of controls over client money.
Other Responsibilities
- Provide schedules and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Assist with short and medium‑term cash‑flow forecasting.
- Prepare and process treasury transactions, including inter‑company transfers and funding movements.
- Support liquidity management, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
- Assist with treasury reporting and analysis for senior management.
- Reconcile treasury‑related accounts and resolve variances promptly.
- Support banking relationships and administration of mandates and signatories.
