The SAP Business One Functional Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end implementation and optimization of the SAP B1 ecosystem. This role requires a specialist who can bridge the gap between standard SAP B1 functionality and complex client requirements involving custom developments, API integrations, and industry-specific add-ons.
- End-to-End Implementation: Lead the full lifecycle of SAP Business One projects, from initial discovery and blueprinting to configuration, data migration, and successful system go-live.
- Process Architecture: Map complex client business processes across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing into the SAP B1 functional framework.
- Technical Translation: Define detailed functional specifications for custom developments (SDK/Service Layer) and manage the seamless integration of third-party applications (e.g., E-commerce, WMS, or Banking Portals).
- Extensibility Management: Evaluate, deploy, and provide functional support for SAP B1 Add-ons to extend core system capabilities for specialized industry requirements.
- Quality Assurance & UAT: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that all custom scripts, queries (SQL/HANA), and Crystal Reports meet the defined business specifications.
- Stakeholder Facilitation: Act as the primary functional bridge between client business leads and technical developers, ensuring project alignment and clear communication.
