The Collard Group are currently seeking to appoint an Experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to assume responsibility for plant maintenance across a number of sites and activities across Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and further afield for our contracting sites.

The Role

Your role will be to undertake planned, reactive maintenance and emergency running repairs to our plant. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing both fixed and mobile processing equipment i.e. Powerscreen, McCloskey, Pegson & Kiverco etc along with mobile equipment such as CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr, Volvo etc.

The Successful Candidate will:

  • Have a good technical knowledge of our plant and machinery
  • Be confident with hydraulics, electrical repairs and welding
  • Be able to plan and implement maintenance schedules
  • Have good communication, organisation and team working skills
  • Have a good understanding of health and safety
  • Be able to work flexibly and to deadlines
  • Have a full UK Driving Licence
  • Be looking to develop a long term career with the Collard Group
