Overview
HGV Skip Lorry Driver required with waste and aggregates experience, specifically tipper and/or grab lorries. The successful candidate will undertake daily driving duties in compliance with legal obligations and Company procedures, as detailed in Driver Inductions, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, and Health & Safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Be legally able to undertake driving duties at all times
- Ensure compliance with drivers hours and working time regulations
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before and during use
- Maintain communication with the traffic office regarding daily progress
- Complete all relevant paperwork correctly
- Report any incidents and accidents immediately to the Transport Team
- Carry out work in a responsible and safe manner with regard to the Company and its customers
What We’re Looking For
- Class 2 CPC card and digicard
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience driving similar vehicles
- Experience in the waste management or construction industry is desirable
- Attention to detail
- Team player with good communication and customer service skills
