Overview
HGV Driver – Tipper role at Collard Group Ltd. We are seeking drivers with waste and aggregates experience, particularly for tipper and/or grab lorries. The successful candidate will undertake daily driving duties in compliance with legal obligations and Company procedures, as detailed in Driver Inductions, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, and Health & Safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Always be legally able to undertake driving duties
- Ensure compliance with drivers hours and working time regulations
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before and during use
- Maintain communication with the traffic office regarding progress
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately
- Report any incidents/accidents immediately to the Transport Team
- Carry out work in a responsible and safe manner with regard to the Company and its Customers
What We’re Looking For
- Class 2 CPC card and digicard
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience driving similar vehicles
- Experience in waste management or construction industry desirable
- Attention to detail
- Team player with good communication and customer service skills
