Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an HGV Driver – Roro as well as learning to drive other vehicle types to increase your skill set, located in Reading. The HGV Driver will be responsible for operating and driving Roll on, Roll off (RoRo) trucks, ensuring timely transportation of materials. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring safe and efficient delivery operations.
Qualifications
- Class C and Truck Driving skills
- Experience with loading, unloading, and operating trucks
- Knowledge of and adherence to DOT Regulations
- Strong attention to detail and safety orientation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
- Previous experience in waste management or related industry is a plus
- Current DCPC card
