Job Purpose
The Site Manager will have full responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a waste transfer and processing facility. The role is accountable for managing site performance across people, plant, compliance, cost control, and service delivery, ensuring the site operates in line with Environmental Permits, legislation, and Collard Environmental policies while achieving commercial and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the waste transfer station, ensuring optimal use of plant, equipment, and labour.
- Ensure all site activities comply with the Environmental Permit, waste legislation, and Company procedures.
- Complete and review daily site inspections, identifying and addressing non-compliance, defects, or improvement opportunities.
- Oversee plant and equipment maintenance, ensuring daily and weekly operator checks are completed and defects promptly rectified.
- Coordinate material movements and site logistics in liaison with internal departments.
